This four-band extravaganza, are Angelo, Todd, Ben & Jack who are more commonly known as COLLATERAL. These four guys have made quite an impact over the last couple of years and tonight is no exception.
Following on from such high-quality bands that preceded them tonight can easily rattle a band. I have indeed witnessed co-headliners who have buckled under such circumstances, though there is no fear of that tonight.
COLLATERAL are on fire and superbly justify themselves as tonight’s headline act.
The band are being hailed as one of those to seriously keep an eye on for the future and everyone in the room tonight can see why.
I have stated before that the band has the ability and belief to be huge. This is primarily from the superb rock sound this four-piece produce gig after gig with a visual belief in themselves. The interaction with the crowd, from all members, is just perfect. Angelo’s rugged looks and banter are quickly able to maintain everyone’s focus on them between songs too.
The vibe is palpable within the room as they storm through their set. There’s a tantalising sprinkling of new songs from the new album complimenting songs from the ‘4 Shots’ EP and the recent single release of ‘Lullaby’.
For a while the chatter has been about the first full album and how will it stack up against the superb ‘4 Shots‘ EP. Well with things being so busy for the lads the release date of the new album has now been pushed back to Feb 2020. Not too far away, though enough to keep all things COLLATERAL buzzing.
The set is completed to rapturous applause, not only from the paying crowd but also from members of the other bands who have stayed and watched the COLLATERAL juggernaut run through another town.
The band has the sound, the commitment, the look and with the right guidance, this could and should be coming to a much larger venue near you soon.
